05-07 08-17 Chain guides

Looking at TM designs and BRP, looks like they have 2 different chain guides listed for the different years. Based on that, the earlier 05-07 450X's may have a different guide mount then the newer stuff? Can anyone confirm that? I thought all 450X's were basically the same other then the triple tree offset on the 08+ years.  I would like to get the TM designs factory 2 (replaceable parts) but they don't have one listed for a 05 450X only the 08+

They are different. The spacing of the first two bolts is where the change lies.

Go with the BRP chain guide. my buddies are all running them on their baja bikes and they seem to last a few thousand miles

More then the guide get the Bullet Proof Designs swing arm guide.  I just checked their site and don't see any for Honda anymore.  I've seen a few bikes needed to be loaded up even after a local welded it back on.  We have them on all 4 of our bikes, with the BRP's.
