Jetting For Overbore Rebuild

Okay so i haven't been active on these forums for a few years because my bike has been in the basement in boxes because i decided to do a full rebuild and Ive had multiple life changes in the meantime. But I finally have everything done and I took the bike from a 125 to a 128 and the jets I have in my carb at the moment dont seem to be delivering even close to the amount of fuel I need. So a few questions for the 2 stroke veterans. How do you go about re-jetting after an oversize piston install? and do you re jet before or after the break in period?

3cc’s isn’t going to require any jetting changes at all. If the bike is starving for fuel it’s either due to an issue with the carb or it wasn’t jetted right before the rebuild

More displacement = more vacuum = smaller jets (or stock)

It should run with the stock jets. If you are fuel starved, it will sound like a kill button....which could be reeds, reedblock, rings, etc etc

Did you verify you ring end gap and orientation ?

So I went out and ran the bike at a decent pace for a few hours and then ran it like a screaming banshee for a few hours and the jetting was fine, I'm assuming I was burning off some assembly oil during the first half hour of running or so which is why it was bogging like it was ( I drown my pistons in two stroke oil upon install)

Any assembly oil (there should of been next to none to begin with) was gone in the first minute of run time. Stale fuel?
