That looks like a DG Exhaust megaphone. They were typical aftermarket exhaust for 4-strokes back in the 70's.[emoji469][emoji469][emoji631][emoji631]

It's definitely not a DG. Could be a generic megaphone welded to a stock midpipe.

could it be a late 1970s era ""Hooker"" exhaust ? ,  they were the rage for the 4stroker dirt crews back then , to be louder than the 2strokerz and make that mean grooowl

maybe even an 80s 3 or 4wheeler aftermarket exhaust   - Hooker  , FMF , DG , Stroker , Basani , Samson ??

FMF didn't make anything for four strokes back then and I don't think Bassani did either. Hooker was probably still only car stuff and Samson probably wasn't around yet. DG looked different than the picture.

It came off a ‘96 XR200r and the seller claims it fits the bike well

It looks like somebody welded (not the best weld) a reverse cone meg to a aftermarket head-pipe and mid-pipe.  If you have neighbors, they definitely won't be happy.

Hooker made several exhausts for dirt bikes in the '70s. Honda's for sure. The OP's pics have a Jardine look to me.

Why not get a 4 1/2" grinder out with a wire wheel, strip off the first 4-6" of paint from the outlet end and see if there's any identifying marks stamped into it? 

Once you determine what, if any are there, repaint it with high temp muffler paint like it looks like it already has.

There are no marks on it whatsoever.
