i am looking for a bit more punch for my DRZ-sm.  should i go down one in the front, or up in the rear? does it matter which one i change and why?
im not worried about losing top speed.
I prefer rear.

Too small up front and it can wear your swingarm.

Hi All,

I put 14/47  for my DRZ 400S (probably this is factory sprocket set from DRZ 400 E) and my speed is lower but more power from down (factory sprockets for DRZ 400 S are 15/44). Comfortable speed on asphalt roads is around 90-100 km/h. I have no problem on off road roads, fire roads, mountains roads etc.
