Who likes to ride or rebuild older dirt bikes?

A 250L was but ive never heard of a sreet legal 250R (Not in the USA anyway) but I could be wrong...❔❔

I don't think that my XR started out on the street. It has a Baja Designs style kit on it. All the frame wear also tells me this bike was def. in the dirt for a while.

It is extremely easy to get a dirt bike street legal in AZ.... The dealer took care of all the paperwork when I bought my 18 TE300 in Feb. I hooked up the brake light, added a hyd switch in back. I never put a frt switch on any of my conversions.

CA bike has to be legal from factory now, baja kits now allowed.

Very easy here in NH also. Have my ktm 300 xcw street legal. You can even register a side by side here.

SxS, quad, atc (3 wheeler), you name it. If it has a title, you can probly get her legal...

A 2000 BMW R1100S and a 1999 Suzuki DR350 electric kicker ...

I love them both .

I would not say I restore anything, I kinda dig it when they are little rough lookin.  I do love to bring the older ones back to life though! (The CR500 is original, I did not restore it) I had a kick where I collected old stihl chainsaws and repaired/restored them as well. The 1994 c125 is almost done, and will complete my favorite HONDA 2strokes collection (1987 CR500, 1996 CR250, 1994 CR125) 

That's a clean 87'. Best stock motor Imo. [emoji106]

Very cool, an old airhead or K bike is on my bucket list. 

Not sad, just able to appreciate the good things. I've never cared much for the looks of newer bikes. Well, except for this one... Also on my list. You can guess why I like it I'm sure.

I guess when you have a nice, unrestored old bike, do you just enjoy it for what she is or go balls out on the recon? A bunch of mates recently viewed my RV125, intended for a fair old going over, but the consensus was “leave her be”.

This 95 XR250r is 100% street legal.

Bought a Guzzi '97 Quota 1000 last month, not (yet) vintage but rare. This is my second one, I used to own a '99 Quota 1100.

This bike is very tired and needs a lot of TLC. A nice job for the winter period.
