Changing riding style

Hey guys.

has anyone ever had to change their style of riding?

Weird question I know but I’m fed up with constantly injuring my right knee. Seems to be the first thing that hits the ground and now I’m rehabbing from a second acl rupture.

Thought maybe I could change my style... my problem (I think) is that my legs are longer than average and my right leg comes off the peg automatically whenever I get of balance. Thinking maybe I need to stand up more or something.

Sounds like you need some yoga...

Personally I've always been a fairly dominant sit down rider. But over the last few years as I've gotten faster I've had to adjust my riding style to stand up more, move my weight forward more to be better centered over the bike, and work on my balance... 

My opinion would be take a few riding schools so someone can point out what adjustments you should make so you can work on them in the future...
