Dash lights too bright

Do any of you consider the highbeam, turn signal, and neutral indicators on the DRZ to be too bright.  Mine throw so much glare into my field of vision when riding at night that they are beyond just distracting.  They bother me so much, that I find myself avoiding using my high beams because the indicator is so bright.

 

Does it bother any of you.  Have any of you found a solution?

When i first got the bike i found them too bright, now it doesnt bother me.

The window tint film will do the trick. Just get one that you can remove and reapply so if you dont like it you can just peel it off.

Yes, drove me nuts. Played with loads of options and rearrange so that I do not see them except for temp and flasher. I changed to opaque leds but yes they did.

Just go to your local window tint installer and grab a piece of offcut from the bin.

I will be doing mine but still busy with work so unable to get the time to work on bike.

I have that area blocked by the DRC offroad mirror, and I can see the glow/reflection on the top of it. But as most people recommended I would use window tint film, and not the spray unless you plan on taking the speedo out to spray it. It would probably take 5-10 mins to apply that much film and squeegie it perfect, the trick would be to find such a small amount of tint since they typically sell it by the roll. Maybe if you have a place that does window tint in your area they can give you a fabric swatch size that was left over.

if its in your line of sight your likely sitting too far back on the seat or you are just really short.

What I did: piece of electrical tape and small hole punch. (Punch tape before install)

Go to dollar store. Buy one of those film for halloween decoration.  Cut from a black piece and put it on.

They do hold well and are no problem to remove. Trsted at 85 mph ...
