Battery died. Can it be saved?

Recommended Posts

Have a 17 TX300 that has the lithium JMT battery in it. Was working totally fine then trailered the bike in the cold (-3) home one day and it was completely drained after that. Bike also has heated grips that may have been accidentally left on and drained the battery. Either way it’s reading less then one volt now. Just wondering if it’s salvagable? Trickle charger won’t charge it.

You might have to get a charger that isn’t a trickle charger. You might be able to fill up the battery with distilled water if your battery lets you do thst

I had one do that once, had to put it on the trickle charger for a couple of hours for a boost then back to the lithium battery tender.  It was too drained for the lithium tender to get it going.  (the battery Joe guys told me to use the trickle charger for a couple of hours to start it)
