Hello

Tomorrow i am going to buy ktm 350 excf 2012 so the bike has about 300 hours and 04 what should i check before buying the bike and how?

The list is long but I will highlight my usual concerns. 

Make sure it is cold when you get there and the owner fires it up cold. Those early 350s were not the best running bikes but that doesn't mean anything is wrong with them. If it starts easily cold then the valves should be in spec, if it doesn't they may need an adjustment. Check wheels for side to side play indicating bad bearings. Check swingarm for play as well for bad bearings. Make sure the chain has never worn through the slider and into the swingarm. Overall cleanliness of a the bike. Ensure good throttle response. Look for any oil leaks around the engine cases. If there is a skid plate I would advise taking it off to check. Make sure all the gears change well and that the clutch functions. No strange noises or smells.
