yosh pipe from 2011 crf250. bolted right to my xr400

Recommended Posts

2011 yoshi worked on my 400. all i did was cut with a hack saw up to the collar on the inside. so i could crank down the clamp so it would get tight enough to seal. And took the clamp off filed the little tab down so i could flip it the other way. so it could tighten from the top. instead of the bottom.

A pipe is more than just a piece of metal that directs the exhaust somewhere.  And Yoshimura has always been pretty high tech.  Fitting a pipe for another bike on one that it wasn't built for may not be such a great idea when it comes to performance.  And the 400 is not just a bigger 250, I have one of each and know that.

Just a thought.

Can agree with you half way. The mod on this post I have done to the XR400 also have  Yosh header/muffler for the Xr400. Both set ups make more power then any set I have used by a wide margine.
