TRX250X NO SPARK

Hi guys kinda new here need help with 87 TRX250X no spark issue. I have checked the electrical with meter the only thing that was not in specs is reverse switch would that keep it from starting?

Hi guys still having problems with my no spark issue on my TRX250X I have tested every thing many times and get good readings. I put an after market CDI and still no spark any help would be appreciated Thanks

dose your killswich work? test all wires from stator to spark plug, also try replacing spark plug

yes i have run through every thing. New plug, after market cdi maybe the after market cdi is no good no was to test IDK

are you getting volts to the spark plug boot, If all else fails maby try a difrent cdi, maby a stock one if you can find one

Thanks for the response. I messed  around with it the other day. Put the stock cdi back on checked all wires with ohms meter. It started and ran for a while. Now I have no spark again. I am thinking it has to do with the two prong connector coming out of the stator.

well maybe not mine does't look any worse then the ones on E Bay any thoughts

After all this time of on again off again I tried an after market CDI and coil. It has been about a month and still starting. I was about to set it on the curb.
