joshstefan Posted November 26, 2018 (edited) Hello, I need to get a new front tire "have a paddle on the back of course" Usually I just throw any knobby on the front but after looking i found a few front tires "made for sand." i will post them below. https://www.motosport.com/bridgestone-battlecross-x10-front-tire?variant[BGS0033]=BGS0033-X001-Y001 https://www.motosport.com/michelin-starcross-sand-5-front-tire?variant[MIC004G]=MIC004G-X001-Y001 Has anyone tried these tires in the dunes? are they worth it? or does it not even make a difference & just throw whatever on the front? Also what tire pressure are you running in the front & rear in the dunes? been trying to mix it up seeing what i like best. Usually around 9-10 lbs. Have a 450. -thanks Edited November 26, 2018 by joshstefan
ScareCrowe72 My Rides (2) Posted November 27, 2018 Those tires are more geared to encounter the sandy clay type stuff you’d find on a mx track. I think you might be looking for somthing more like this

Chicken-N-Waffles My Rides (3) Posted November 28, 2018 Ive heard reviews about that tire being bad, have you had any experience with that tire?I do, it sux. Get a sand track style mx knobbie. Bridgestone 101 is probably the best but spendy. Dunlop MX11 is also good.
deanevo Posted December 4, 2018 (edited) The Pirelli mx32 mid soft might be something for you. It's the king of the GP's of Lommel, Assen, the #1 choice for deep sand terrain. Edited December 4, 2018 by deanevo
bikedude987 Posted December 7, 2018 seems like the Kings rib is discontinued... what's everyones second favorite dunes tire?
