martaz Posted November 26, 2018 I want to add lights/brake light to my Cr250 2000 .. I've enquired today about a lighting stator but was told I could use my original stator ,just add a new lighting coil ?and regulator ? .. I don't need it to be bright as it's more just to get me home in the dark on the road (my bike is road registered ) in the event of being out late on trail .... I did fit lights and heated grips to my Ktm xc350 no problem but on that there was already wires to power from so made it easy .. so I'm not a complete novice in routing or wiring up lighting . seanmx57 Posted November 28, 2018 Yes, it's an easy swap, just 3 screws and the windings unbolt. Bolt in a set of windings on the stator that are set up for lighting. If you set it up with a nice battery your lights won't dim with RPM. Yes you need to get a regulator too. I think ricky stator will have it.

seanmx57 Posted December 2, 2018 The part in the last post is what you need to change. The stator is the part in the first pic.
