Rubber type gasket for fuel cap

The fuel cap gasket is leaking on my Clockworks tank, Clockworks doesn't offer a new cap. Rather than shooting in the dark and buying a new cap (contacted CW who recommended what cap to buy from Rocky Mountain for example...cap didn't work, gasket was too thin to be effective) I was wondering what type of fuel resistant rubber I need and where to get it. Viton perhaps? This is for my 09 300xcw.

maybe try some caps off other bikes ? found crf and xr caps fit a variety of clark, ims tanks I had.

Cut up an inner tube....if it melts...then order specific material.

Nevermind, looks like tubes are Butyl.  No go.
