I was born with Wolf Parkinson White. Not to dimenish these guys doing 180bpm for 11 minutes but several times over I will do anywhere from 190 to 200 bpm for 1.5 to 2 hours. So I "kinda" giggle at this because the human body is capable of handleing extremes for a long period of time. Its the strenght and youth that these athletes have on their side.....otherwise.....whatever.

comparing heart rate, or max heart rate, is silly. 

everyone heart is different, as well as different size...having a higher max HR doesn't make you a better athlete.

But VO2 Max lets people know how badass you are. And how much you can push prior to bonking

I prefer to push during boinking.
