Pit bike backfiring out of carburetor!!!! Please help

Recommended Posts

I have a 110cc Chinese pit bike. I just put a brand new top end and carburetor on it. When I kick it over air comes out of the carburetor, but I took off the intake manifold and it was sucking air in like it's supposed to from the head. So I'm guessing it's not a valve or timing problem. Please help me out, thank you.

Your valves are not in spec. 0.003-0.005. Sounds like the intake valve is too tight. If this doesn’t fix, you most likely will need to lap your valves. Might as well get new ones. Only 6$ for a pair with springs haha.
