Bike shifted into first while going fast

Recommended Posts

Ok the story goes,

I was in neutral with the bike turned off and I was near the Bottom which i needed to turn left back up a hill so i kick-started my bike while going about 30km/h and for some reason my bike shifted into first (or it may have been me accidentally) and it revved very high maybe higher than 10,000rpm, and I stopped and turned it off, and it doesn't shift into neutral or first or second but does  shift into third and fourth. I did an oil change and no metal particulates came out and i think the gears are broken is this assumption correct? if so would this be the part i need: https://www.ebay.com/itm/Pit-Dirt-Bike-Transmission-Gear-Box-Main-Counter-Shaft-For-YX-140cc-150cc-160cc/153405929559?hash=item23b7b4b857:g:bdIAAOSwM8NcgLZJ

Engine: Yx 140cc

Thank You

Just curious, why were you coasting with the bike off?

As to not alert my neighbors of me riding because they hate my bike
