DRZ125L won’t rev

So last week I bought a 2012 DRZ125L. I was told the bike had sat for about 6 months. The bike started but would run with the choke off and wouldn’t rev out when riding it. I assumed it was just a dirty carburetor and went ahead and purchased it in that assumption. Took the carb apart and cleaned it (Gunked up) and reassembled. The bike started right up but will not idle with the choke off and dies out when trying rev unless slowly building up revs. Suggestions in what direction to go next would be greatly appreciated.

Starts/runs on choke but won't idle/dies when off the choke sounds like it's still plugged up.

Don't even attempt to clean the old pilot jet, just replace it with a new genuine OEM one.

Did you take out the fuel/air mix screw and clean that passage. It's not going to run if that is clogged up. Be careful when removing all components and get them all.

So here’s the latest... took the carb apart Shaina Nd cleaned everything again. Bought a new pilot as mlatour suggested and reassembled. Starts right up in first kick w choke on. As soon as I start turning it off dies out. Even with the choke on it pops and stutters when giving it throttle and dies out unless you let off the throttle. Suggestions?  Contemplating buying a rebuild kit ($40) or I can get new Mikuni for about $90.
