CR125 reed question.

Hello, so I have an 02 cr125 with a set of Vforce Delta 2 reeds on it, but my intake manifold is a little dry rotted and is cracked a bit. I can't really find any OEM intake manifold anywhere. So I was wondering if it would be worth just buying a Boysen rad valve or modifying a early 2000s yz125 manifold to fit.

Bro chuck that dry rotted intake boot, no Bueno!, If ebay doesn't have it, get the after market one. No air leaks permissible! Nien! neyt! nada! Be sure to correctly install the gaskets, don't use sealer one em, slap em on dry, make sure they line up correctly, and install it and torque those bolts correctly in order. good luck...……………...the dude!

As the dude above said: not the slightest air-leak is permitted or you might get a engine failure..big time! Do yourself a favour and get a new reedblock. I'd suggest the Vforce3 or 4. On my 125s the Boyesen RAD wouldn't rev up top and cost me a couple HPs. The VForce is doing much better. I have it on all my 5 bikes.
