Rebuilding an 04 450 EXC and i have a question regarding using Kibble White Black Diamond Stainless Steel valves. Purchased from rocky mountain and they never said anything about purchasing new springs. The Package the intake valves came in had "must replace springs if replacing Titanium with SS" printed on it. I am replacing SS with SS so therefore I believe I do not need to run kibble white springs. Correct? I've heard answers going both ways. looking for input from someone who has used these valves on the same bike that had SS valves.

Thank You

Sounds correct. The springs used with titanium valves would end up giving you a different harmonic and possibly float the valve but since you are replacing SS with SS, your springs should work fine.

Titanium valves are lighter , therefore weaker springs, put a heavy steel valve in with a weaker spring, issues may occur
