I've seen the Coober device also, but know of no one that has taken the $600 gamble. And you're right, the power is "super soft" below the midrange. I also think tuning would certainly "wake up" the rest of the lost torque in that part of the RPM band.

One last thing...I've noticed the clamps on the Wings have been known to "loosen" after a few heat cycles. I just checked mine after a couple hundred miles, and had to synch them up, again! Never seen this needing it more that once to "take a set."  Something to keep an eye on.

I do have a PC5 and a custom map from Rottweiler Performance. I also have their fuel dongle and removed my O2 sensor completely and their SAS canister delete.  I do have the EVO lid on the airbox with a K&N. Bike runs a million times better down low. My bike would die when I’d pull in the clutch coming to a stop everyday from lack of fuel down low. No more issues.

Rotty's Air intake kit for the 2019's should be done in a couple weeks- FYI- And yes the Wings clamp does need some re-tightening here and there. I just received the original quiet DB killer from one of the older exhaust units so I will compare sound levels to the default db unit shipping with the 2019 versions.

Just looking at the Tekmo "bomb" header. Anyone have one? Good? Bad? Indifferent?

My 2019 Wings came with 2 inserts, sticker sheet, T-shirt and a sweet mini Wings muffler keychain.  Also no insert + no donkey ear turn signals = no problem. I built my own fender eliminator and have an integrated LED strip for all my tail lights.

Mine too.

Here’s before and after comparison videos

It’s just right in my helmet to hear with music playing. Not too loud to be annoying for the neighborhood

That’s with the louder included insert.
