Mikuni "Jarvis" Mods - Plug Chop freshie 2018 tx300

We did the mikuni mods to this new tx300 and really like how they cleaned it up. Plug chop looked nice too. 

- cut airbox

- drilled bowl & plastic insert

- crimped float overflow by 70% and drilled 

Bike is all stock except for RK head. Jetted for 5-10k feet.  Check it out!

I have the same bike and same mods and just loving it... BTW, that's not how you correctly read a "plug chop" you do in fact have to chop the plug by reading the bottom of the diode which means cutting the plug....

That is correct. You can still see the main changes on the electrode this way. If you're not getting the light brown on the plug yet, no sense in cutting the plug open. 

 

You said you have done the carb mods, are you running the stock head, and are you above or below 5000 feet? Thanks

RKTek head and I'm in Utah so most of my riding is near or above 5000'....
