(Single Caliper, reservoir, and line. Comes with the passthrough sleeve for the stock master) This system is a real bitch to bleed sometimes, but so far has given me no issues and works great, would def recomend it for trail riding, but isnt a real powerful brake on the track

MY PERSONAL THOUGHTS AND REVIEW OF THE EXC 450

I have absolutely nothing bad to say about this bike without being extremely petty about minor stuff. Its not a perfect show bike by any means. I take good care of it, but I bought this thing because it can take a beating. It has 6500 miles, and 170ish hours at the time of the pictures which is probably 2/3rds on the sumo wheels commuting around town. This bike makes a great daily commuter here in Hawaii, where you never have too far to ride to. That being said, I wouldn't buy this bike and expect to daily it on the mainland. Sure, you can physically do that without any problems but your ass will be sore, and you'll be changing your oil every week if you go by the manual recommended intervals. I push the service intervals when Im just putting around town going to work and back, but I always change oil, clean air filter, etc. after a good trail ride. This bike is suprisingly capable in tight woods single track and can handle some hard enduro. Ive done a fair amount of all day hard enduro rides with this bike in dense jungle mountains on Oahu, and even on stock suspension just using the clickers this bike can get thru anything a purpose built enduro bike can, but it is a much more tiring bike to ride all day in super tight stuff. It has so much bottom end torque to lug up any hill climb in 2nd or 3rd. So if you're looking for a bike that you can legally ride on the road everyday, and trail/enduro ride on the weekends this is it. Even with the supermoto wheels on this bike is fun to trail ride. Top speed with the current set up on the SXF map with 11,200rpm limiter, is about 125mph, and it cruises "comfortably" on the highway at 80mph without feeling like you're wringing it out. I say "comfortably" cruises, because the bike feels comfortable, rider usually not so much. If I was into blasting down a freeway at 100+ all the time I'd buy a sport bike, but this bike is adequate to quench the occasional craving for speed, or at least not be so far behind your friend on a rocket that you cant see him anymore.

Disclaimer: These are just the unqualified opinions of a Novice rider and mean nothing. Im not an expert on anything motorcycle related nor do I claim to be. Just some dude having fun on a supermoto 🤙
