Disassemble ignition cylinder?

My Chinesium steering damper came with a longer steering lock pin. Has anyone successfully & non-destructively taken their ignition/key cylinder apart?

Old post but did you figure it out? Im thinking of picking one of the stabilizers up.

Be carful I only use Scott’s that did a study on those damper and they all broke I have 3 no problems one is 19yrs old I only change the oil very high maintenance lol

Yup, just get a screwdriver in the slots around the pressed on cap and pry your way around it. Can be tapped back on after.
