Northern Idaho Riding Area's

Recommended Posts

Anyone can help with some good northern Idaho riding area's? We are considering going down for about 5 days riding. We were thinking of starting at Gold Creek Lodge and doing a few days there, then either Wallace or McCroskey if it is still open? Can someone make some recommendations where to go camp/ride?

Is there good riding near Bonners Ferry?

All the riding in North Idaho is logging roads and quad trails, I wouldn't waste your time. :D

Based on all the Rzr’s i see out there all the time I would concur

Hard to get the cooler full of cold 'stones on a bike and keep it there...

Where are you coming from and when?  McCroskey is fun but really nothing special.  It’s main appeal is that it’s open early season IMO.  Wallace is great but you might need a guide.  Have you thought about just riding out of the lodge?  You might repeat the trails a few times given you’re there for a week but that isn’t always a bad thing.

Plan right now is to ride 2 days in Wallace, then 3 days at Gold Creek where we will camp. We've booked Wallace accommodations already for a hotel. I'm lining up a few guides 🙂

Not scared of hights or heights. But gravity sucks.
