Hole in silencer

Recommended Posts

Riding today and appears that a rock put a hole in my silencer ( probably from me getting roosters [emoji23]) but yup put a hole the size of a ball point pen tip in the middle of my fmf powercore 2. Leakes sponge over swing arm now and not sure how to fix it. I don’t have an aluminum welder at the moment and not sure what to do. (JB weld, high temp epoxy?) please let me know thanks

You sure a rivet didn't fall out?

Photo? Can maybe stick a rivet in it.

If it's not a rivet like doc said then put one in it or in this case, since it's not the MOTOR, jb weld it

Yup positive it’s a tiny little pinhole in the silencer I’ll post a pic
Salt actually pitted a hole in one of stock silencers and I yamabonded it 2 years ago and still holding .

Think jb weld would do the trick?

I think I just try jb weld since it’s such a small hole, i would have to drill it out to fit a rivet in.
