TREK - front tire not center

Fairly new to mountain bikes, especially modern ones.

 

I bought a used Trek XCaliber 6 this summer. I only noticed this week that the front wheel does not sit centre of the frame. It is off to the left side. Bike has disc brakes; if that makes a difference.

 

I did some google research but didnt find anything really concrete. Figured I would ask before bringing it in.

If it has a through axle, then the dish is off. If it has a quick release with standard dropouts, the wheel might not be sitting right. Dish is easily adjusted by loosening one side of the spokes and tightening the other.

I believe it is quick release.

Release the quick release, hold the front brake and then tighten the quick release again

This just helped me with the marlin.
