Bill the Bong Posted September 27, 2019 I normally put a full bottle of gear oil in the clutch side in order not to have to mess around with partial bottles. In South Africa that means 1000 ml. I've just finished the Tankwa rally, a 1150km stage race over 3 days. Right at the end of the race, I saw some evidence of leakage around the CS. When I got the bike home and on the stand, it looks like the CS seal was actually partially pushed out. This begs the question: am I overdoing the oil amount enough to create pressure issues? Jim Dettman Posted September 27, 2019 (edited) Possibly. Overfilling will create more foam and it will pressurize as a result. However, you do have a tranny vent and this is why you have one. Check and make sure it's open. Jim. Edited September 27, 2019 by Jim Dettman
