dannyb Posted October 1, 2019 (edited) Hey Bob, Sorry it took so long to reply, wanted to check the place out beforehand. So, Lee Ann & I went to Cow today to see wassup. Little history- we've been riding up there since 1992, all conditions, and on various types of bikes- from bigass d/s bikes to skinny ktms. Today? Sucked. Gravel, silt, silt that looked like hard pack, gravel with no traction, and just the normal amount of rocks, but not in their usual places. We survived, but ain't gonna go up there again till the rains come. Lets do FH instead- I know your're probibly jones'n to try out different areas, but untill Cow recovers, put it on the back burner. Save your drive time for better days.. Dominic- I have the perfect loaner bike for you, all ya gotta do is get yer retired ass up early enough, slug a liter of coffee & ride... Thanks for the offer Dan but I'm a recovering dirt bike addict. Bought the TW for scouting hunting area's and staying under the speed limit (something I can't do on my liter sport bike). Gave all my dirt bike gear to a mother getting her family into dirt biking, just ride redneck now. I might be up cruising FH trail 5 ish looking for deer soon.
