My family and I have just moved back to the uk from France and we have brought with us my sons Beta rr 50cc super motard and we can’t register it in the uk without a type approval number for the v5. Until 2-3 years ago you could find your vehicle's type approval on the country's DOT (for EU countries) online database starting the search by manufacturer and working down to your exact model. However this has changed and you have to know the specific TA number, then you can download it and register a vehicle in your country. I think this is due to new EU guidelines.
