Doc_d Posted October 4, 2019 I rode a 2020 Beta 200RR and I liked it a lot. I've never been a big fan of small bore 2-strokes in the woods. I haven't ridden a 150 yet. But the 200 could be lugged around just fine and it wasn't really peaky on top either. If you're not super tall, the Beta's seat height is going to be a big plus. The KTM XC-Ws are tall. I ride an XC-W and I'm 5'8". I've gotten used to it, but when I sat on the Beta it was nice being a little closer to the ground. You might also want to consider a 300... They can be lugged around and are really easy to ride. With the power valve turned down and riding a gear high off the pipe, they are pretty tame and make everything easy. At your altitude having a little extra grunt might be worth it. A lot of people call the 300 an "old man's bike" for that reason. I'm 48 now, so I guess it probably is. LOL!
