How to touch up yamaha's blue rims?

Recommended Posts

My son and I just returned from Colorado and he somehow managed to beat up the pretty blue rims on his 18' 250X. Nicks and scratches all over, exposing bare aluminum. I tried a blue and also a black sharpie, but neither really matched the blue anodization. Any recommendations on what I might try next?

Thanks all!

Model airplane paint comes in every blue imaginable. Nail polish can work good too.

What color nail polish do you have in your collection?

I used these. I have not damaged them yet. Prob been on my bike for 2 years IMG_0733.thumb.JPG.8fb87aa01ce0acde89fcbef6cbe317bb.JPG

I used the black decals on blue rims, went for a two tone look IMG_0734.JPG

Lacquer and latex body suits aren’t normal. Poor guy wants new rims every ride not that image in his head.
