mbw479 Posted September 30, 2019 I have installed a couple piston with a moly coated skirt (see pic), I have dropped the oil to check it after .5hr run time and noticed some black specs in there. I am assuming this is some of the moly coating of the skirt, it’s not a lot and I’m not too concerned. Just thought I would check and see if anyone has some experience with these pistons, and is this normal? Thanks
BDubb106 My Ride Posted October 3, 2019 I have never had the coatings come off a CP piston and I ran them almost exclusively in my RMZ’s.

mbw479 Posted October 3, 2019 The black specs were mainly on the long screen, with some in the drained oil.
