Clay Martin Posted September 30, 2019 I have a 2006 TTR-125LE. A bolt came off the flywheel (the bolt us one of the 3 that hold the starter clutch) and wedged in the stator, locking up the engine. My son kept trying to use the electric start. I have replaced the stator and starter clutch. The electric starter now makes a loud "groaning" sound. Is this a common sound for a failed starter?
