Element Pixel Posted September 30, 2019 So i had my 2003 Suzuki RM85 for a bit now and i broke the clutch lever so for a quick bodge i used a bike brake lever, then when i went to ride it i could not shift any higher than 1st. Im not to sure if its the clutch but it needs replacing anyway due to it stalling when in gear anyone have any ideas?
nobade Posted September 30, 2019 Buy the right clutch lever and see what happens?
Element Pixel Posted September 30, 2019 Yes mate i have and havent put it on yet but cant see how it would make a difference since it pulls the clutch cable the right amount
snb73 Posted October 1, 2019 What caused the broken brake lever, did you wreck? In that wreck, did you bend the shifter? If so, is the shifter hitting the ignition cover and in turn not allowing you to shift into any of the "up" gears?
snb73 Posted October 1, 2019 Can't edit my first post:What caused the broken clutch lever, assuming you went down on the left side, you may have bent the shifter? The shifter may be hitting the ignition cover and in turn not allowing you to shift into any of the "up" gears?
