Fouling plugs suzuki rm 125

Recommended Posts

Recently purchased a 1998 suzuki rm 125 that's fouling the spark plug. Also seems to be unburnt fuel coming up from the chamber too. When it starts it will run for a time but when it's warmed up bogs, cuts out and may or may not start again. Am I right in thinking the seal at the bottom of the chamber is to blame or should I look else where? Supposedly had a reseal just before I bought it so don't want to poke around blind. Thanks in advance

Check your jetting and float level first.
Pro Circut suggests:
Main=168
Pilot=55
Stock needle, 3rd position
Air Screw=1.5 turns out

This is just a baseline.

What ratio are you mixing your gas and oil? The accepted norm for a 125 is 32:1

Let us know what you find.
