Will 125 forks for yamahas fit on bigger bikes ?

Two stroke yamaha forks take a bigger top clamp diameter (56 vs 54mm) than the four strokes, so the 125 forks will only fit on the 250 two strokes.

OP, your posting history suggest it's for a 2008 YZ250, correct?

 

YZ125 forks are the same except for softer spring rates

but you'll have to research the brake caliper bracket size as some changes went on during the 2008-2010 period,

not sure if it's only the bracket or, the lower fork tube mounting lugs as well.

 

If you need to replace anything damaged in your current forks, most parts are still available from Technical Touch USA.

For my 16 yz450f long story short I messed up putting it together and now the threats on the damper rod a gone
