1993 RMX250 power valve replacement

Does anybody know what year rm exhaust valve will fit my 1993 rmx 250? plz let me know

It doesn't look like any year RM exhaust valves fit. Check out the "Related Fitment" in the following link.

I used 1990 RM exhaust valves in mine worked great. I don't remember exactly but I think 89 to 93 rm valves will work. Do a search it has been gone over here before that's where I learned about it. Solves the goofy 3 piece rmx design problems.

I used rm250 valves in mine too, can't remember the year but any early 90's valve that looks right should fit.

My memory is fading on this one, but I believe that in '92 the RM250 went to a different size exhaust port and in '93 the RMX followed.  So you should be able to take the entire powervalve assembly (what's in the cylinder) and install that into your RMX.  At that point you would be using the RM's more reliable 2 piece valves, it won't have the torque but it will be more reliable and with Boyesen Pro Series Reeds you'll get some of that back.

So if my memory hasn't faded too much:

PV's from a 89 thru 91 RM250 can interchange with RMX PV's from '89 to '92

From there '92 thru '95 RM250 PV's can interchange with '93 thru '98 RMX's (that only counts for the US models)
