97 400rxc motor in 96 frame

I have a 96 400 rxc. Runs great. Fun bike. Kick start sucks. I found someone selling a complete 97 400rxc motor with electric start for a good price. Will it swap in? Visually, the engines look identical. Thanks!

You are probably going to need the '97 wiring harness because of the starter circuit, You're also going need to adapt the oiling system. The '97 has  a filter on the forward tube on the frame and the non eEstart motors have the filter under the carb.
