Selecting the right speedometer

Recommended Posts

Ive been looking round for a speedo for my drz400s 2004, came across one I liked on this Australian mxstore but it said it was for a drz400 2000-2020, drz400e 2019-2020 and a drz400s 2015. I'm not very familiar with the differences between a drz400e and a drz400s so just wanted to check to see if the speedo below is compatible with my drz400s 2004. Just to add, I do have a speedo drive on my front wheel.

Cheers

Yup that will be fine.  your speedo drive will be unused,

Also have a look at:

As you can get a speedo drive converter for it instead of using magnets.  A much more elegant solution IMHO

Freight will be comparable to MX store as both are in Aussie

The Endurance II is on my DRZ already 4 years. I am very happy with it.
It will work on any bike.

Those Acewell speedometers are really nice with lots of features; however, mine crapped out on me after 5 years or so, most of that time spent sitting in the garage. I had the Model 1600. I've given up on a dedicated speedo and just the the speed indicator on my GPS.
