GetFiredUp Posted March 22, 2020 (edited) I’ve been riding track for a couple of months now getting pretty decent but has anyone got tips for when your riding a really muddy and slippery track to have more control and stop your bars from wobbling so much. My positioning on the bike is generally pretty good. Should I try put my weight back a heap more?does going faster help? speedtoad Posted May 2, 2020 The bike going to move a lot underneath you. Practicing in sand will help. I have also found an Enduro pipe will help with traction over a top end pipe in the mud. Keeping Traction is key.
texasthierry Posted May 16, 2020 Keep your feet on the pegs and be smoothed. Watch video of the Euros at Red Budd for the MX des Nations 🙂
NYMXer Posted May 31, 2020 Traction control is the key to fast lap times under slippery conditions and a few tips would include short shifting, using torque over HP, keeping your weight on the pegs and off the saddle, lowering your center of gravity. Ease on the gas or brakes, nothing too sudden. Look for alternative lines, near the sides where traction might be better, practice under similar conditions and also lower some tire pressure.
