DR 350SE Front Sprocket: 14T vs 15T

Recommended Posts

Posted (edited)

Hi, my bike came with a 41 teeth rear sprocket and a 15 teeth front sprocket. Since I am not planning on going on the highway, I was thinking I would probably enjoy a 14 teeth front sprocket more. Max speed would be 90 km/h = 55 mi/h. How much more fuel would it consume per distance and would the increase in torque be very noticeable? What about a 13 teeth?

you can get a front  14T sprocket from about 15-20$, get one and give it a try, it'll answer all your questions, it's a 20 mins job to swap.

dont like it? go back to 15...

13T will have the chain rubbing on the top of the swingarm, not really recommended long term.
