Soft or Hard suspension

Recommended Posts

On a CRF150r is there a place to start when adjusting the soft or hard adjusting screw on the shocks?

Sure. Gently close the clickers for compression and rebound all the way and then slowly count the total number of clicks as you open them fully. However many clicks you get, divide by two, and that's where you set your baseline and then adjust from there.

I have this in my notes from setting up a friend's CRF150R a while back.

I forget which but keep in mind some of these adjustments are not typical clickers with felt 'clicks '

but simply set by counting the number of turns out (CCW / counter-clock wise) from being lightly seated.

COMPRESSION  (BOTTOM)           adjustment range: 15 turns    SPEC:  7    CCW
