Well used or almost new DR 650

Been a long time lurker and finally decided to pull the trigger on a dr 650 as I’ll be moving to Oregon. I have a well used 2013 11k mile DR local with a dent in the tank SM wheels in it and FMF exhaust for 3800 I will have to swap out the SM wheels for stock wheels because he doesn’t have them. Then I found a 100 mile 2014 DR owned by a man in his 60s that’s showroom quality with a lot of extras for 5k he starts it once a month and it’s on a trickle charger but four hours away which I’ll drive. 5k is my limit to spend and I can’t find anything near me worth a damn. What would y’all do? Anybody have a nice one for sale near southeast Texas?

Hey y’all thanks for the comment on the post. So now it’s between the 14 dr 650 I posted earlier and an 18 DRZ 400sm with 900 miles for 4800 that just got posted. Bike will mainly be used around town/offroad with the occasional once or twice a month highway trip that’s ten minutes. I’ll use it to go all over eastern Oregon hunting but will trailer it to hunting spots so I can carry cooler and guns easier. What do you think is smarter? I’m thinking the DRZ and swapping to some s rims. I just don’t want to make the wrong choice on the bike dropping that much cash and regretting it would suck.

Ended up buying the 2018 DRZ for 4700

Like new with 700 miles. Has Yoshimura full Exhaust, L.E.D. Turn signals, and Tailight with tag relocation. Renthal Bars, K & N Air Filter, J & D Jet Kit, 3 x 3 airbox modification, Stage One Hot Cams, Manual Cam chain tensioner, Clear Oil Filter Cover, Case Savers, Devol Racing Rock Guards, and Radiator Guards, Moose Racing 1/4 turn throttle, and rear fender rack, Seat Concepts Low Anti Slip Seat, Pirelli Scorpion Tires (200 miles), Zeta Chain roller, Bark Busters, and Stem nut new in boxes, 2 Stage Air Filter new in plastic, NIB Dynojet jet kit, 2 complete Model Specific Nut, and Bolt sets, and all the original parts except the tires. I think I got a steal on it. 63 year old man owned it and injured his hand not allowing him to ride anymore.
