Giant loop rear lift strap

Is there a trick to mounting these? I know you’re supposed to attach it to the subframe but on my bike there’s no way to attach it that way without obstructing the plastics. 2019 350 XCF

You can mount it as pictured here?

Ok?  The subframe is not exposed under my seat so the only way I can mount it like that is by cutting holes in my plastics. I understand how it’s supposed to mount but how do you do it when the subframe is not exposed.

maybe I don’t understand what the actual question is but here goes nothing.

Use the subframe/seat bolts. Literally everyone I have seen mount then on any bike has used them. Works flawlessly!

I have also seen lots of people staple them to the seat (these were DIY straps, not something they bought from a company) but I feel like that is bound to fail when you need it most, however those people have used them flawlessly as well.
