Kx250f cam chain guide hitting cam???

So i'm new to the dirt bike scene i used to ride quad but wanted a change so i bought a broken kx250f with low compression and it would only bump start. i re shimmed the valves a while ago and just lapped the valves now i'm putting it back together and i notice my cam chain guild is hitting my exhaust cam is this a problem or is it normal below are two pictures of it the first i'm pushing on the cam so it sits in place the second i'm not.112_2176.JPG.6abb5a5c6ed90c0c5582eb5195a809cd.JPG112_2178.JPG.fdacae0472ed5abc262aaa734c35074c.JPG

Not directly familiar with Kawi, but some guides will have two pins sticking out that drop into slots in the head or cylinder to hold them in place.  If the pins are not setting in those slots, it can push the guide toward the gear.  My KTM chain guide is almost uniform, and if not careful can be installed upside down.
