Hi everybody, i wonder if someone can tell me the eye to eye measurements of the rear shock of a 1996 YZ250 please?

I need to know to estimate the effort to rework a newer shock to fit.

Thanks a lot, Michael

You know when you adjust the preload, it can increase/decrease in length..so if your are adapting a newer one, you might want to match the specs of the original...image.png.e68586d3f36b71dadbbfa925c821cddd.png

ÄÄÄH, sorry i dont get you....

When i adjust the preload i only move the initial working force of the spring, the eye to eye distance of the shock stays the same! I only need the eye to eye distance and the travel (would be ideal to know) to know which shock i can use to make it fit. I know that i have to shorten the shock shaft or change the lower clevis if there is a shorter one available or get one made.

Thanks, Michael
