Jayson Goolden Posted July 4, 2020 Thanks everyone for the help with my prior issue!! Ok I have an 05 crf450x and the rear breaks work until a while into the ride and then there is no rear brake. SS109 My Rides (3) Posted July 4, 2020 You're probably overheating it. Make sure your fluid is fresh (I highly recommend DOT 5.1 fluid - do NOT use 5.0) and properly bled. Also, make sure your foot isn't resting on it unless actually using it. 2 Share this post Link to post Share on other sites

thedude05 Posted July 5, 2020 Any more info on symptoms? Pedal go mushy? Pedal completely soft and goes straight down? Pedal have pressure but doesn't seem to slow you down? Any weird noises or vibrations from brake? How new are pads? Rotor bent or straight? Everything aligned and installed properly?
