2018 WR450 spedometer questions

hi all,

Id like to know how easy it is to remove and open up the meter,

to alter the mileage..

NOT to reset the mileage, but to add mileage.. (this could safe me about €2000+ in taxes as the bikes to "new")

due to imposed import duties.. in my country..

?

Not sure if you can do this on your odometer but some bikes will let you increase the front wheel size to a very large number so that when you go for a short ride the mileage increases significantly.

"newer" WR's are pretty rare,

(in the Netherlads anyway)
I havent seen anyone in my area at all..

Pretty sure it's the same from '07 onwards but happy to be corrected on the panel...

I will correct myself...it seems to Partzilla. All reverse motor are the same across 250/450. So ask a mate with a '16 above if you can borrow their dash panel.

This may sound completely idiotic, due to me not fully knowing the workings. Could you somehow hook up the speedo cable to a drill, zip tie the trigger, go have dinner.. and magically have all the additional milage you need...?

true.. 

but I was trying to figure out howlong a dril would need to run..

imagen: one turn of the fr-wheel is two meters (were metric) @500 rmp in one minute it should cover one kilometer (right??)

4000km = 4000 minutes

=66 hrs nearly 3 days ..

?????
