KX250F Spark Plug Heat Index 7???

Hey guys, question?  My son has a 2009 KX250F, I’ve had to rethread the head and find a new spark plug that will thread. I have a NGK Iridium DPR7EIX-9 with a head index of 7.... Will this be ok??? Please help!!  I don’t want to put it all back together and damage the engine because of the plug.

The NGK Iridium plug listed for that application is a CR8EIX, one heat range colder.

Make sure your alternative plug's length matches the original so ignition coil fitment is correct.
